As would be expected, these foci are not independent. They must work in concert for your organization to be operating optimally. Additionally, there must be an organizational commitment to continuous improvement. Organizations and their environments are not static. In order to meet changing needs in the marketplace or new legal requirements, the organization necessarily will change over time. There are two approaches to how the organization will meet these changes, namely: 1) pro-active and incorporating these changes to maximize the ability to meet the changes or, 2) grudgingly layer the changes on current processes thereby stifling how the organization meets the changes. Obviously, the first approach is better for the organization, its partners, and stakeholders. The Group can also work with your organization on smaller more specific projects and programs as well as the comprehensive approach shown above.
