Deployment

At the time an organization decides to engage the Academic Business Consulting Group, LLC, the action begins the "We" phase of consulting. "We" means that the Group will partner with your organization, its issues and concerns, to create a proposed solution. It is an integrated iterative process utilizing constructive resources to meet the desired outcomes. This approach adds value to the engagement because the Group will bring "best practices" from the American Society for Quality library and the Baldrige Performance Criteria from the National Institute for Standards and Technology (U.S. Department of Commerce).  The process is:

Within the "We Process" the following actions occur:

bullet"We" listen
bulletTo acknowledge the organization’s current environment.
bulletTo affirm the culture of the organization.
bulletTo understand what has brought us to the current condition.
bulletTo conceptualize where the organization wants to go.
bullet"We" analyze
bulletTo understand the great and subtle variables that influence the current condition..
bulletTo create qualitative and/or quantitative models that reflect current and future reality.
bulletTo include the variables in the models in real time so that all concerned can discern the impact of changing these variables.
bullet"We" propose
bulletTo make changes within the organization to meet the desired outcomes.
bulletTo make changes to the environment in which the organization exists so that it can meet its desired outcomes.
bullet"We" return
bulletTo determine how the organizational and environmental proposals have succeeded.
bulletTo assess if additional proposals should be considered.

In each section of the "we" process, the Group will use a fact based approach.  Some times proposals are based on intuition or personal preference with the result that the organization performs at a sub-optimal level.  Intuition and personal preferences also create hostility when they meet other individuals intuition and personal preferences.  By using fact based analysis, the process of optimization is enhanced and future improvements have a solid foundation for being undertaken.
