The Academic Business Consulting Group is an organization that is dedicated to increasing performance at your campus.  It is comprised of individuals who have strong backgrounds in various disciplines to assist you in reaching your goals.  Each consultant has a specialty and works with other Group consultants to ensure that any proposal performs well across the campus.  Each consultant is committed to partnering with your campus to optimize performance and quality.

The detail page buttons marked "Affiliations", "Code of Ethics", and "Consultants" at the left will take you to detail pages showing specifics about the Group.  "Affiliations" describes the various organizations that the Group works with to ensure a positive consultation experience.  "Code of Ethics" states the standards of practice that apply to the Group.  "Consultants" is a brief statement about individuals that may be used by the Group in your work product. 

What we do:

Higher education is continually facing human and financial resource constraints.  At the same time, the organizations are coming under increased competition and accountability to provide superior education to their students.  Many institutions have turned to outside consultants to assist in resolving these sometimes contradictory views of education. It is this opportunity to enhance higher education that spurred the creation of the Academic Business Consulting Group, LLC.

The Group provides a variety of advisory services ranging from financial consulting to comprehensive engagements using Baldrige Performance Criteria.  Additionally, other performance measures across the entire organization or departments to very specific efforts such as enrollment management, media relations, organizational management, policy analysis and development, and policies and procedures for procurement.  You decide what typed and level of engagement is appropriate for your campus.  In all cases, the Group employs what is called the "We process."  This approach is a synergy between the campus and the Group's expertise to fully understand what issues are involved, analysis to provide a proposed solution, and feedback to determine if the proposal is performing as expected.  The process is described in the Approach and Deploy pages of this web site and readers are encouraged to visit these pages.
