The Academic Business consulting Group, LLC was founded in 2003.  For the past three years the Group has been consulting with higher education in a number of projects.  The list includes:

bulletDeveloped a business plan, including a financial model, for a proposed Dental Hygiene program at a regional university campus.
bulletCreated an economic assessment of all campus nursing programs for a community college system's 13 nursing programs across the state.  The assessment included:
bulletCreation of an on-line survey of Nursing Deans and campus educational officers for developing a S.W.O.T. (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) report submitted to the top level administrators..
bulletCreation of a programmatic financial model for program improvement and necessary funding for the next four years at all campuses..
bulletCreation of a small peer-group of community college nursing programs across the country to develop benchmarks for program funding.
bulletThe Senior Partner has participated in four Colorado Performance Excellence (CPEx)/Baldrige organizational examinations.  These have included businesses, educational, and health care organizations.  They have been at three levels of review, namely; High Plains, Foothills, and Peak.  For more information about CPEx/Baldrige use the "About Us" tab above and then the "Affiliations" sub-tab.
bulletDeveloped financial models for funding of programs at a university campus:.
bulletModel development was under a contract with the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance in cooperation with the Division of Resource Management and the Office of Institutional Research.
bulletModels were created for the College of Business, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the College of Letters, Arts and Science.

The Group has limited the number of contracts to ensure that each client received a maximum amount of value for their consulting dollar.

Additionally, the Senior Partner was involved in the following projects prior to the creation of the Group:

bulletDeveloped a business plan, including financial model, for a Professional Golf Association approved Golf Management program at a regional university.
bulletDeveloped a financial model for campus housing that was included in a revenue bond offering at a university.
bulletDeveloped financial plans for the lease-purchase of a major classroom/office building at a university.
bulletAssisted in the development of management information systems across a multi-campus research university
bulletThe systems included, but was not limited to: academic program performance, staffing patterns, enrollments and credit hour production, and institutional characteristics.
bulletProject included creating methodologies to collect, classify, and interpret data to provide information to top level administrators.
bulletCreated a tuition revenue projection model at a regional university.
bulletDeveloped reporting processes to provide longitudinal student information from a regional university to the statewide higher education coordinating office.
